DATES STUFFED WITH FETA CHEESE AND WRAPPED WITH PROSCIUTTO

These little bites will be a party favorite, or to just make any evening at home special.

INGREDIENTS

12 dried and pitted dates - sliced the long way to create a pocket

1.5 oz. Aristaeus single serving Feta cheese, cut into 12 equal pieces (the short length)

Prosciutto - each slice cut into 4 pieces

Honey, optional

Freshly ground black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 450 degrees

Gently stuff each date with a slice of Aristaeus Feta cheese then wrap with the prosciutto.   Place onto a baking sheet lined with tin foil.   You can gently brush a bit of honey over the top, which will give it an extra crunch, however this is optional.   Then grind some black pepper over the top.   Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes.   Serve immediately.    This recipe makes 12 dates, but you are going to want to double, triple or even quadruple it once you and your friends try it.
